19th Century Bracelet with Citrines

The gold, intricately chiseled setting is a remarkable background for five outstanding citrines. The stones of a rare color called vivid yellow have an oval facet cut. This beautiful variety of quartz was already known in Ancient Rome but it was the 19th century that saw its true blossoming. The gem was made in the nineteenth-century.
The combination of the brilliance of the stones with the color of the old gold setting gives the bracelet sophistication and elegance. Certainly this is a "gem" on the antique jewelry market.
