Officially, the year 1939 is the end of the Art Deco era, but its reminiscences can also be found in the 1940s and 50s. This brooch is an excellent example of this, created in the 1940s. The goldsmith designed it in the form of a fancy bow, with intertwined golden ribbons decorated with shiny small diamonds and small blood-red rubies. The whole piece consists of two elements combined into a brooch, which can be worn separately when unfolded.
