A small piece with birds-of-paradise. The brooch is made of gold with steel-grey cultured pearls as bellies and mottled, guilloché-style enamel in red, navy blue and green, imitating the birds' feathers. The brooch was made in the 1960s and perfectly reflects the atmosphere of that era with its ubiquitous symbolism of love, peace and unity.
