Art Deco earrings with pearls, coral beads and onyx
Price range: (10 000 zł - 25 000 zł)
The unique style of Art Deco continues to fascinate with its innovative form that took jewelry to its artistic zenith. The earrings presented here are a perfect example. Designed and formed into frisky fringes made from perfectly matched small pearls and beads. The orange of the beads brings out the intense creamy white color of the pearls. The whole piece is then bound by a delicate rim of diamond studded black onyx. An additional decorative element is the diamond pin, connecting the tassel and clasp, masking the pin. The fastener is also safe and comfortable to use. The piece is presented in a Cartier box, although the earrings do not bear any markings from that distinguished brand. Origin: Previously owned by Mrs. Thelma Glyn-Hughes, wife of Brigadier Hugh Llewelyn Glyn-Hughes CBE, DSO (1892-1973), Secretary of the Barbarians Rugby Team.
