A wonderful string of magnificent almandines in the form of faceted balls. The central part of the necklace is decorated with a medallion made of garnet and diamond rosettes, with a small golden insect in the middle.
Garnet has always been surrounded by an aura of mystery, and even magical powers were attributed to it. In the 19th century, this mineral became the favorite stone of European goldsmiths.
