David Webb

(1925-1975) Designer, jeweler from the United States. As a young boy, he started to learn jewelry in famous New York studios. In the years 1950-70 he created a worldwide recognized, unique brand of jewelry. His miniature works of art delighted with their perfectly matched stones, gold bullion and perfect precision of execution. Moreover, Webb's naturalistic motifs of animals or plants, refined in every detail, and simple, geometric Art Deco forms attracted a distinguished clientele, which included famous women such as: The Duchess of Windsor, Jackie Kennedy, Elizabeth Taylor, Barbara Streisand, Helen Mirren and Estee Lauder. Currently, Webb's pieces can be found decorating the hands and necks of Beyonce, Renee Zellweger, Cameron Diaz or Eva Mendes.
