This unusual cocktail ring, contains a 35-carat pastel-colored sea water aquamarine. The stone is discreetly emphasized by small diamonds and rubies. The stones are set in the characteristic style of Pierre Sterlé, made of gold in a technique called "fil d`ange" or "angel wire." The original composition of the stones and incredible precision of execution ensure that the jewel can be called a work of art.
Pierre Sterlé
(1905-1978) a French jeweler called "couturier of jewelry" (jewelry creator). All his life he was considered an inspiring innovator. He opened his company in 1934 and reaching its height in the 1940s and 1950s. His extraordinary ideas received the "Diamond Award" of the De Beers Diamond Corporation in 1953-55. The exclusive character and originality of his style was appreciated by many eminent clients, including King Faruk of Egypt, who in 1950 ordered from the artist a crown for his future wife Narriman. In the last years of his life, Pierre Sterlé worked as Chaumet's technical consultant and in 1976 his jewelry store was completely taken over by Chaumet's Jewelry House.
