A ring that resembles a light signet style ring. An interestingly framed Verneuil ruby.

Auguste Victor Louis Verneuil (November 3, 1856 – April 27, 1913) French chemist best known for inventing the first commercially viable process for producing synthetic gemstones. In 1902, he discovered the "flame fusion" process, called the Verneuil process, which is still in use today as a way to produce artificial corundum, rubies and sapphires.
