A beautiful Art Nouveau object made around 1910. Old European cut diamonds set in platinum. The body of the ring is made of gold (750), except for the bottom frame of four stones, made of 570 gold. Jewelry has accompanied man through the ages, and each era has worked out its own distinct style. Around 1900, the time of the Belle Epoque, Art Nouveau was that style. It was then that jewelry took one of its most beautiful forms in the history of gold-smithery, imitating nature and taking all types of plant and zoological shapes. This piece is based on motifs of branches and flower cups, with decorative vines and stylized leaves. The quintessence of Art Nouveau was absolute unique, combining precious metals with beautiful stones.
