A lockable sugar bowl, decorated with Art Nouveau engraving with a floral motif. The oval shaped bowl sits on four legs. The lid is hinged, with an undecorated area left in the centre for initials or emblems. Additionally, a laurel wreath-shaped handle is attached to the lid. The initials FS (Franz Schmidt) and a hallmark are found on the inside of the lid and on the sugar bowl. The item is made of silver, and gilded inside.
