A remarkable Victorian jewel designed as a sabre with a laurel branch. The brooch is made of a gold-silver alloy and decorated with sapphires, rubies, diamond rosettes and perfectly fitting diamonds shimmering with a delicate glow. The jewel was created around 1895 during the so-called "Golden Age of Jewelry". The development of industry, new technologies and easier access to colorful precious stones enabled the creation of unique miniature pieces of jewelry made with excellent precision. Thanks to special handles, the brooch can also be worn as a spectacular pendant.
