About the brand : The Swiss watch manufacture International Watch Company was founded in 1868 by Florentine Ariosto Jones (1841 - 1916), a watchmaker and engineer from the United States. The company has been manufacturing mechanical wristwatches and pocket watches since its founding. Interestingly, it is the only Swiss watch manufacturer to bear an English-language name, which is due to the origins of its founder.
