Mariano Alonso Pérez y Villagrosa

Price range: (> 50 000 zł)

A lovely, vibrant, joyful genre scene. In the foreground we see a group of young women laughing in extremely colorful costumes. Their hands, raised up in the direction of the courier, suggest that they were impatiently waiting for the correspondence provided by the courier. A man teasing them raises his letters high above his head. The whole incident is watched with a little amusement by the nearby residents and casual passers-by. This compact, cheerful composition is characterized by a wealth of unusually warm colors. The signature is placed in the bottom left: "Alonso Perez." The canvas and painted are in good condition. Perfectly matched frame.
